Iranian Tech Firm Introduces Advanced 3D Metal Printing Systems
WANA (Dec 21) – A knowledge-based Iranian company has unveiled advanced 3D metal printing systems, enabling industries to manufacture intricate components for medical, energy, and aerospace applications.
Mohsen Badrostami, Chairman of the Board, stated that the company focuses on designing and manufacturing 3D metal printers. “We are among the manufacturers of laser-based 3D metal printing devices,” he said.
Badrostami highlighted the firm’s achievements in industrial and research services, noting, “We have successfully commercialized metal 3D printers, and they are currently being utilized by various institutions.”
He further explained that the systems are based on original designs developed locally by the company’s specialized team, which oversees all stages of design and production.
According to Badrostami, these printers have diverse applications. In the medical field, they are used to produce custom implants made of titanium or cobalt-chromium, medical devices, prosthetics, and dental components.
In the energy sector, the printers are used to manufacture impellers, fuel nozzles, and other related parts. “In aerospace, they facilitate the production of high-strength, complexly designed components. They are also instrumental in industrial and research sectors for creating specialized parts with intricate geometries,” he added.
